John Williamson was one of the founding members of TeamAg, leading the engineering section when the Team began in 2002. Having left the business, and the U.S., for several years to work for the Mennonite Central Committee inIndia, Nepal, and Afghanistan, John returned to TeamAg last year to resume business development and work on transformation teams and advance the firm’s engineering staff.
John holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Ohio State and earned Master’s Degrees in Regional Planning and Ag Engineering from Cornell University. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of Akron Borough Planning Commission and has been elected to Borough Council for 4-year term, beginning January, 2016. He also, serves as Chairman of Pilgrims Mennonite Church leadership team.
John and his wife Lynn have raised three adult children. Even with his business commitments and volunteer work with organizations in Nepal on organizational and leadership development, John still finds time to run about eight miles each week.
