Lucas Waybright is one of the 9th generation currently working alongside the 8th generation at Mason Dixon Farms, milking 2,400 animals and farming 3,000 acres in Gettysburg, PA. This 2010 graduate of Delaware Valley University is responsible for Mason Dixon’s maintenance and special projects. He works daily with the dairy’s complex methane digester (the first of its kind in the Nation), manure system, and lagoons and all harvest operations.
With a degree in Ag Business, Lukas has been developing a keen interest in policy issues that impact the dairy industry and in which his more senior family members have been leaders for many years. He is a Director on the Board of Mason Dixon Farms, Inc. Board and serves on the Board of the Adams County Penn State Extension.
Lukas and his wife, Nicole are the proud parents of a baby boy and are active in the Adams County community of friends and family and even when not working, prefer to stay active outdoors.
