- Dr. Mike Van Amburgh of Cornell University will share emerging research around early calf growth rates and their use as a predictor of future performance. He will discuss this topic as we explore Mercer Vu’s brand new 400 head group calf housing facility with its automated stabilized milk delivery system.
- Mercer Vu has been running advanced manure solids separation in an effort to separate more fines from their waste stream to remove more Phosphorus. See what they’re doing and hear about the latest techniques for Phosphorus reduction, nutrient application and other sensitive environmental issues.
- Over the past few years, Mercer Vu Farms has focused on their cropping enterprise. Experts and advisors will showcase the farm’s success at increasing bunker storage capacity by 30%, reducing shrink and improving feed quality overall.
