Lisa is the Liaison to the Board for Penn State University.  An Associate Professor in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science, Lisa received a B.S. degree in Animal Bioscience from Penn State in 1988, a M.S. degree in Animal Science from the University of Maryland in 1990, and a Ph.D. in Animal Science from Penn State in 1993. Lisa worked as an extension associate with the Dairy Management and Profitability program for two years before joining the faculty of the Dairy and Animal Science department in 1994. She has research, teaching, and extension responsibilities in the areas of dairy management and nutrition. Currently, her extension program efforts involve working with dairy advisory teams, dairy business management, and labor management. Lisa’s past research has focused on the use of intensive grazing for high producing cows, and her current research efforts are centered on enhancing profitability in dairy systems.
