Bob Rohrer has been active in PDMP since the beginning of the organization and epitomizes PDMP producers in his continuous improvement, growth oriented, best of class philosophy. Bob is the second generation of three brothers, with the third helping to comprise a seven family member team working with about 8 non-family employees. Located in Lancaster County, with 1480 cows and 1500 heifers, the Rohrer's have just completed installation of a new barn and parlor to maintain cow comfort as they increase the herd by approximately 400 more head.
Bob is a cow guy through and through and he believes that working closely with employees to ensure they are well trained to perform at the top level is an essential ingredient to their success at Rohrer Dairy Farms.
